could copy and paste the poem from the internet. |

Type the poem before you start to
change the formatting, centring the heading etc.
The completed poem should
be saved. |

Change the Font size to a larger size |

rest of the poem and change the font size (16) and

Inserting

Place the
cursor underneath you
poem. |

In the Clip Art
search Clip Art and Photographs for poppy |
Reduce the image to an
appropriate size |

Drawing
your own poppies |

On the Drawing Toolbar
select -
AutoShapes > Basic Shapes > Heart |
Click underneath the poem
and a heart will appear |
Copy the heart and
paste in 3 more |

Move each heart away from
the others |
On the Drawing Toolbar
select -
Draw > Rotate or Flip |
Rotate or Flip each heart so they point in a
different direction |

|
Move the hearts so the
points meet in the middle -
You may need to nudge (press Ctrl and the arrow
keys).
The hearts can overlap in the middle |
On
the Drawing Toolbar select the Oval tool
Click on the screen to get a circle |
Adjust the size of the
circle and move it over the centre of the hearts. |

Click on a heart and select
red from the Fill Colour Tool |
Colour
the other hearts using the same technique. |
Colour
the circle black using the same technique. |

Use the Select Objects
tool -
draw around the completed poppy. |
Copy and paste
the poppy. |
Position it next to the original poppy. |
Repeat - depending on how
much room is available |
