Creating Posters with Photo Backgrounds

Choose a theme or topic for your poster e.g. Slip Slop Slap Wrap

Slip Slop Slap Let's All Work Together Do the Right Thing
Choose the page set up you require, either Portrait or Landscape
If landscape click on the file menu > page setup > landscape.
 
Type your slogan - Slip Slop Slap Wrap
Change the font, size and colour
   
Using the Insert Clip Art tool Clipart tool
Search for photographs of Beach. Insert the picture onto the page
 
If you click on the image it should show the Picture Tool Bar -

if not - go to the View menu > Toolbars > Pictures

Click on the Text Wrapping tool and choose Behind Text.
Make the picture fill the page completely so the slogan is visible on top of the picture.

Organise the text so that it is in the most visible part of the picture, using the alignment buttons.

Choose suitable font colours so the text is clearly visible.
