Creating Graphs
within Spreadsheets
This
activity uses the spreadsheet created in this lesson. |
| Once your
spreadsheet is created it is a simple step to create a graph
using the Chart Wizard. |

| Select the data
you wish to use in your graph. |
| This would be everything
except the Heading and the total pets. |

| The Chart Wizard has 4 steps |
Step 1 - Chart Type
Select form the list the type of graph you would like to
use. |

- Chart Source Data
This step is asking you what data you want
represented on the graph |

Use the Press and Hold
to View Sample button to help you decide what
graph to use |

already selected the data. If not you can select it

Use the Tabs along the top to complete each
task.

Step 4 - Chart Location
Select where you want you graph to appear
Place the graph
next to your spreadsheet or on a new page completely |

The main
task here is giving your graph a title and
naming the axes of the graph. |
If you
have space you would usually place you graph "as
object in" |

For each
task you will see the changes occur in the preview area. |

The finished

By
double clicking on different sections of the graph you
can change the colours font and alignment of the test |

Experiment with the
chart wizard. You can make it do almost anything you want. |
